Cascades Tissue Group attended the Retail Council of Canada’s Store Conference which is Canada’s biggest retail conference, in Toronto on May 29th and 30th. This event celebrated the 25th edition of the Canadian Grand Prix New Product Awards, an annual contest that fosters innovation and recognizes the excellence of new products in the food, non-food and private label categories.
Cascades FluffTM, part of the 119 finalists of the most impressive new grocery products that were introduced in 2017, won again in the non-food category. In fact, the Cascades FluffTM line of three varieties of bathroom tissue appealed to all the judges, who preferred them over other national brands.
“This launch enabled Cascades to entirely rework its product offering and serve the Canadian market better. The brand image and the entire marketing approach were also completely redesigned so that we connect better with our consumers,” said Mylène Boucher, Director, Marketing and Innovation at Cascades, who took to the podium and accepted the awards on behalf of the company.
Cascades Tissue Group has something to celebrate since this trophy as this is a great addition to the many other awards received since the launch of the brand in 2017.
