On November 29th, at the Ninth edition of the Pulp & Paper International (PPI) Awards, which took place in Brussels, Belgium, Cascades Tissue Group won top honors in the Tissue – Innovation Award for its Cascades Fluff & Tuff brand.

Hosted by RISI, the leading information and data provider for the global forest products industry, the PPI Awards are the only international honors rewarding companies, factories and individuals in the pulp and paper industry, which stand out the most in different categories, such as leadership, vision, innovation and strategic accomplishments.

By highlighting Cascades Fluff & Tuff brand’s innovative nature, its growing presence on the market and the clients feedback, the Consumer Products marketing team has allowed Cascades Tissue Group to carve out a place among the 5 finalists in its category.

Cascades Fluff & Tuff brand was launched on March 14, 2017. Winning such a prestigious award after only a few months on the market is proof of the efforts made and the brand’s promising future.

“We launched a line of toilet papers and paper towels that is among the softest and strongest on the market, while maintaining all of the green properties our products are known for. Our objective was simple, to offer consumers the comfort and performance they’re looking for in a product, while also protecting the environment. We wanted our new and improved products to become the brand of choice for more and more families across the country, and we are achieving this goal,” said Jean Jobin, president and COO of Cascades Tissue Group.
