The equipment to make homemade bath bombs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ingredients<\/strong> :
\u2022 1 cup baking soda
\u2022 \u00bd cup citric acid
\u2022 \u00bd cup Epsom salt
\u2022 \u00bd cup clay or cornstarch (optional)
\u2022 2 tablespoons vegetable oil<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Can be sweet almond, argan, jojoba, coconut (melted), avocado, or even olive oil. For an even more hydrating formula, you can replace the oil with melted shea butter.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n


\u2022 Water in a spray bottle
\u2022 10-20 drops of essential oil**<\/p>\n\n\n\n


** If you\u2019re making your homemade bath bombs with your children, choose real lavender, ylang-ylang, or eucalyptus radiata.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other optional ingredients :<\/strong>
\u2022 A few drops of liquid soap dye or food colouring
\u2022 Dried flowers or aromatic plants
\u2022 Natural glitter to give an even more sparkly effect to your bath (especially for the youngest children).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Spherical bath bomb molds or small cake molds (can be any shape you want)

How to make your bath bombs<\/h2>\n\n\n

You are now ready to create your first bath bombs! Choose the scents and colors for each bomb and follow the steps in our homemade bath bomb recipe.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1<\/strong>: Dry bath bomb mixture
In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients<\/strong>: baking soda, citric acid, Epsom salt with clay or cornstarch, and (optionally) dried flowers, aromatic plants, or glitter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Step 2<\/strong>: Wet mixture
In a small bowl, mix the wet ingredients<\/strong>: vegetable oil, coloring, and drops of essential oil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Step 3:<\/strong> Mixture of all the ingredients
Pour the wet mixture little by little and slowly into the dry ingredients. Be careful: add small quantities at a time and mix<\/strong> directly<\/strong> to avoid triggering the long-awaited reaction!<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Psst! If you do trigger the reaction, have some paper towels<\/a> handy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Spray a little water<\/strong> at the same time to bind everything together. Once the ingredients are completely mixed, your wet paste should fit compactly in your hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Step 4:<\/strong> Forming the bath bombs
Insert the paste into your molds and pack the mixture firmly<\/strong> to make it compact. If you have preparations with different colors, have fun mixing them in the molds to vary the results!<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Step 5:<\/strong> Drying and preservation
Let your homemade bath bombs rest for 6 to 24 hours<\/strong> to dry and harden. Once ready, your bombs can be stored for 3 to 6 months in airtight containers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
